So much for the wingman...
Well well well... it has been a long time. Unfortunately, I have been most busy, as my uncle has been moving in with us, and getting everything set up for an extra person takes quite some time.
So, I no longer have my studio, as it has been converted back to its original function - a bedroom. However, I do have a spiffy new workspace, with a funky new desk, enough space to work on, and a storage tower for my ever-growing CD collection, courtesy of JB Hi-Fi, home of $10 Iron Maiden CDs. Can't go wrong.
I've been to a couple of gigs since, too. First up was 4D Metal Mania, with Deafening Silence, one of Adelaide's best bands. While I was ther

EDIT: How could I forget to mention this? The heavy metal community lost a good patron recently. Ronnie James Dio, the ever-talented vocalist of Heaven & Hell, ex-Rainbow, and ex-Black Sabbath, lost his battle with cancer less than a week ago. It's like a part of me has died along with him. Rest in peace, Dio. Show that heavenly choir how it's done, and say hi to Dimebag and Cliff for us. :horns:

I'm seriously struggling to deal with all the supplies I need to buy for this art degree. For example - my second Photo Studio assignment cost me about $70 AU. For one assignment. That's three rolls of film, the processing, the scanning (WHICH by the way costs WAY too much), the paper to print it on, and the mountboard to display it on. All this means I can't see Unearth and The Black Dahlia Murder. Damn. =(
You know that feeling you get when someone so close to you, like a fam
Yiros and T-shirts.
So, with my mother in Thailand for a week, I coped the only way I know how: by going to the boyfriend's place, playing games, going for long bike rides and stalking Universum at a gig (always fun).
Oh god, Lord know how to put on a good show. If anyone lives in Sydney, check them out next chance you get. Fuuuuuuuuuuck they were good. One of those bands that looks like they're genuinely stoked to be on that stage, you know? The bassist unplugged the singer's guitar at one point, killing the lead for about five seconds while said singer flipped him the bird. And of course the fella and I got photos. Might be a new ID, even.
