DEAR GOD IT HAS BEEN TOO LONG.

YES, I am still alive. Don't you worry; I'd be sure to send you all messages if I wasn't. But GOD, has it been a while since I last said anything! *Checks last journal* Holy shit, twenty-five days? GAH.

So, what's new, what's new...

I'm currently on a three-week semester break from my BVA, so I'm caught in a limbo of CG, too many books, and viking metal. I've made up my mind to lose weight and clear up my skin by mid-August - I want to look good for the concerts coming up; is that such a crime? I swear, I WILL dress as Alice Cooper when I go to see him.

Oh, I'd like you all to do me a favour - scootch on over to VaginalJesus' page and tell him to get well soon. Poor bugger's been struck with two illnesses at once, so give him your best wishes and tell him Ronnie told you to!

With no art school, I have taken to occupying myself with a million and one things at once. Thankfully my mother went to a market out of town recently, and brought me back a bagful of secondhand Stephen King books, as well as the poetry of Tennyson. Add that to the secondhand set of Ann Rice's vampire chronicles I picked up for twenty bucks, and I've got a lot of reading on my hands! Not to mention the thick volumes of Frost and Wilde I borrowed...

I've also started drawing comics. Well, I have yet to actually draw one, but VaginalJesus and I have had many a long and random conversation revolving around Deathstars, and eventually we decided that I should turn them into comics. He has the ideas, I have the 1337 4rt ski11z. Or something like that. I wanted to call it "The Misfortunate and Misaligned Misadventures of Sir Reginald Whiplasher Bernadotte Esq.", but we decided it was too long... More on that below.

I can't think of much else, other than that I have weeks full of half-days next semester - oh, and I got into Printmaking! That means my new timetable consists of Sculpture 1 (Mould making), Concept Development 1, Art History and Visual Language 2, Printmaking 1 (Intalgio 1), Photpgraphy 1 (Photographic practice), and Drawing 1. Man, this is going to be FUN.

Expect me to put up insane amounts of art school projects in the near future...

Hiya, folks! I have started a music blog! Check it out!

You can all thank/blame ZOMBIES-GO-RAWR for that.

The majority of my music ramblings will go there, but I feel I have to say OH MY GOD ARCH ENEMY ARE COMING IN NOVEMBER! I HAD to say that. Arch Enemy were the first death metal band I ever fell in love with. So many great bands coming this year! Trivium, Alice, Cradle of Filth, Arch Enemy... Universum are playing in August, and I cannot WAIT for that... *insert starry eyes here*

Other than that, my iTunes library sits at a hefty 44.98 gigabytes, and counting - I have a metric ton of music I haven't dropped in there yet (Hooray for torents!), and I'm slowly working my way through and listening to it all. That's taking a while. It's also kind of depressing, really... *sigh*

I'm also having a ball burning CDs for driving. So much easier to pop in a CED than skip through tracks on an iPod... also, I have discovered that my fourteen-year-old sister is becoming a Trivium fan. I feel so proud.

Oh god... where to begin. First off, ART SCHOOL IS OVERRRRRR!!!!11!!1!!!!!11!!1!one!!!

Also, I have FINALLY started doing comics. Or at least, by that I mean I have started doing shitloads of prelim sketches for the comics that VJ and I have talked about. Rather, he's come up with, and I've promised to draw. Expect to see Whiplasher Bernadotte take on Curtis Rx with some very questionable comments about sideburns and particular Creature Feature lyrics!
